Dan – Jimmy Lessinger had a heart attack. Please pray for his recovery. Karen’s grandmother passed away at 100 years old.
Michael – His mom is battling cancer and losing mobility. Please pray for Michael’s father also as he is learning how to care for her.
Gretchen – Please pray for her brother in law John. He has slow-growth lymphoma. His treatment is aggressive and he is responding well to it.
Ingrid – Please pray for her family’s health.
Funmi – Please pray for her – she is overwhelmed at work
Lesley – Please pray for her friend at the coffee shop. Please pray that she has the right words to guide him in his search.
Mary – Please pray for Kendra and Chance. It looks like they will be going back to their mom. Pray for their protection and for peace for Mary.
Holly – Please pray for Ivy. Her divorce is going to be a lengthy process. Some issues she will need to let go of – please pray for discernment for her.
An update on my meeting with my friend from the coffee shop. Things went well, we talked for almost 3 hours! I walked away a little unsure of whether or not I had had any impact at all. My goal was just to connect with him and get to know his story. I ended up doing more talking that I had intended and worried that maybe “I” had gotten in the way and not let God do the work. However…My friend has asked me to meet with him again this weekend. I have no idea what he wants to talk about, but I will take this as a good sign.
